Going home for me is always a treat. I never know where I am going to wind up and who I am going to meet next. Gloria’s father President Diosdado Macapal was a guest of my father in the mid 60’s for the Batangas Trade Fair, and there I met Gloria for the first time when we were in our teens. I barely remember it, and last year I met her again as an adult and she was Vice President. My dear friend and extended family member Cynthia Norton invited me to this book signing party where Gloria was a key speaker. We were discussing the donation major medical equipment my parents gave to V. Luna Hospital. |
